Ages 12 - 15
The Vibe: Let’s work on perfect pirouettes, fabulous fouettés, spectacular turns in second, floats, switch spot turns, leaps, jumps, leg extensions--you name it! This class is perfect for dancers wanting to improve technique for competition, pom, and auditions!
What to Wear: Any dance or fitness clothes. Half shoes, shoes, jazz shoes, or ballet shoes are great.
TUESDAYS (September 9, 16, 23, 30)

The Vibe: Get ready to dance like it's 2000! Oops! We Did It Again is a high-energy, choreography-based jazz class inspired by the iconic music videos and performances of Britney Spears. From “Toxic” to “Slave 4 U,” we’ll channel the attitude, style, and sharp moves that made Britney a pop legend.
Open to ages 14 and up and welcoming all skill and ability levels, this class is all about having fun, embracing your inner pop star, and learning fresh combos each week. Whether you're a lifelong fan or just looking for a feel-good dance experience—this class is for you.
No judgment, just good vibes and great music. Come slay!
What to Wear: Any dance clothes you want–or go full Britney with a cropped baby tee and low rise pants (belly button piercing optional).

The Vibe: You are beginning your ballet journey, or you just want to revisit the basics. This class will introduce you to the fundamental technique elements, vocabulary, and procedures of ballet.

The Vibe: Perfect for dancers who have completed Intro to Ballet or anyone looking to strengthen their foundation, Ballet Basics focuses on the essential techniques and building blocks of ballet—without the pressure of complex combinations.
This class is all about refining your understanding of the "how" and "why" behind each movement. We’ll break down key steps, transitions, and alignment so you can feel more confident, connected, and in control of your dancing.
Whether you're returning to ballet or want to deepen your technique, Ballet Basics will give you the tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.

A class for dancers who are learning and refining the basics while looking to gain a stronger foundation of ballet technique. Barre, center, and across the floor exercises focus on proper alignment, core and leg strength, and flexibility in simple combinations.
Ages 16+
The Vibe: Ballet technique that honors the classical tradition while celebrating the beauty that is “all bodies are made to move."
What to Wear: Live your ballet-core fantasy: leotard, tights, and legwarmers, maybe a wrap sweater. OR leggings, shorts, and a t-shirt; whatever you like to move in. Ballet shoes or socks recommended.

You have been rocking it out in Beginner Class, feeling confident, and now you’re ready for a new challenge. But you’re not quite ready for Intermediate/Advanced class. This class is perfect for that in between place – still focusing on solid fundamentals, but introducing new material, more complex patterns and more physically demanding work. This class is also perfect to supplement your Beginner or Advanced classes you are already enjoying.
Ages 16+
The Vibe: You know how to plié and tendu – even if you’re still working on how to spell them. You have been working hard in beginner class and you are ready for more material!
What to Wear: Keep wearing your favorite workout clothes or sweats. OR now is the time to invest in that cute leo and skirt you have had your eye on at Discount Dance.
WEDNESDAYS (September 3, 10, 17, 24)

**Class held in the Susan E. Brackett Dance Center**
Designed for the dancer with at least 2-3 years of previous experience. This hour and a half class focuses on enhancing individual artistry and cultivating the dancer's technical level with increasingly complex combinations of steps.
Ages 16+
The Vibe: Ballet technique that honors the classical tradition while celebrating the beauty that is "all bodies are made to move." Also, don’t be surprised when people ask if you are a company dancer!
What to Wear: Do we even need to tell you? You are an expert at this point- wear anything from your extensive dance wardrobe!

Whether your goal is to do the splits or comfortably touch your toes, this class is for you. Class will be easily adapted to your individual goals and flexibility level. Stretch, strengthen, and warm up in this class designed to increase mobility, flexibility, and range of motion.

The Vibe: We bend, but do not break! We are flexible, fabulous, and caring for our fascia.
What to Wear: Any fitness or dance attire. Bring a mat and foam roller--or use one of ours!

What to Wear: Color, sequins, sparkles, and fashion are welcome. Maybe those shorts that are potentially too short. Make sure you can kick, drop it, and get on the floor with ease. Dance Heels or any shoe that makes you feel amazing is suggested. Please, no stilettoes for the safety of both you and our dance floor!

What to Wear: Really, “Anything Goes” – channel your inner Savion Glover with some cool baggy pants and graphic tee, or keep it classic with any dance/ fitness clothes. And, of course, tap shoes.
