Oklahoma City Ballet’s community engagement programs serve over 5,000 youths and seniors within Oklahoma. We’re committed to providing experiences that increase the understanding and appreciation of ballet, as well as a lifelong interest in the arts.
Our BalletReach program provides on-site ballet instruction to students at schools across Oklahoma City. Through BalletReach, students not only learn the basics of ballet but also gain a foundation of valuable life skills.
ArtsReach is an award-winning program that brings the art of ballet into the classroom. This free 8-week course is available for all grade levels, educating students in the history of ballet and culminating in an opportunity to experience a live ballet performance.
Oklahoma City Ballet’s ticket donation program serves other non-profits and organizations within the metro by providing free or discounted tickets to our professional performances.
Golden Swans is our program designed to help senior citizens in our community stay physically active through an exploration of classic ballet movements. Classes are structured for students who are beginners or who have had some prior dance experience.
Our organization is proud to partner with the Parkinson Foundation of Oklahoma in order to offer our Dance for Parkinson’s program. This program offers classes to those with Parkinson’s in order to help improve balance and mobility in a fun social atmosphere.
Chance to Dance is Oklahoma City Ballet’s new adaptive program. This inclusive dance class is designed for students of varying levels of physical and developmental abilities ages 7 and up.
