Skill level does not matter when it comes to health and wellness. These classes are about getting active and having fun, so they are designed for teens and adults of all ages and abilities. Our dance classes are offered on a drop-in basis at our Susan E. Brackett Dance Center and no formal registration is required. Let’s get dancing, OKC!

An hour and a half class for dancers who know the basics and are looking to gain a stronger foundation of ballet technique. Barre, center, and across the floor exercises focus on proper alignment, core and leg strength, and flexibility in simple combinations.
Designed for the dancer with at least 2-3 years of previous experience, this hour and a half class incorporates more complex combinations with additional challenging steps. Focus is on raising the dancer's technical level and enhancing individual artistry.
Geared toward the dancer with significant experience (i.e. extensively involved in dance as a teen, former professional, etc.), this hour and a half long class includes increasingly intricate combinations continuing to develop individual artistry and technical strength.
Contemporary dance is an expressive, artistic style utilizing the techniques of Ballet, Jazz, and Modern. This new one-hour long class will emphasize your mind-body connectivity accompanied by a fantastic music selection.
New to ballet or looking to review the basics in a comfortable, inviting environment? Spend four weeks (2 one-hour long classes per week) in our new seminar-style class learning the basics of ballet technique. We be focusing on basic positions, correct posture, body alignment, and an introduction to French terminology. After completing these eight classes, you will be ready to join our Beginning Ballet class. (This seminar package includes 2 free Beginning Ballet classes!)

Selected by audition, this performing ensemble of adult dancers rehearses once or twice per week and is open to all levels.

An hour-long ballet class for senior citizens, no dance experience necessary.
An hour-long movement class specifically for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
An hour-long inclusive adaptive dance class open to children ages 8–12 of varying physical and developmental abilities.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in (i.e. tights, leotards, yoga pants, or sweatpants). We ask that hair be secured away from the face regardless of length.
