Our dance classes are offered on a drop-in basis at our Susan E. Brackett Dance Center and no formal registration is required. Let’s get dancing, OKC!
An hour and a half class for dancers who know the basics and are looking to gain a stronger foundation of ballet technique. Barre, center, and across the floor exercises focus on proper alignment, core and leg strength, and flexibility in simple combinations.
Designed for the dancer with at least 2-3 years of previous experience, this hour and a half class incorporates more complex combinations with additional challenging steps. Focus is on raising the dancer's technical level and enhancing individual artistry.
Geared toward the dancer with significant experience (i.e. extensively involved in dance as a teen, former professional, etc.), this hour and a half long class includes increasingly intricate combinations continuing to develop individual artistry and technical strength.
Contemporary dance is an expressive, artistic style utilizing the techniques of Ballet, Jazz, and Modern. This new one-hour long class will emphasize your mind-body connectivity accompanied by a fantastic music selection.
