Leah Reiter, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, spent her early childhood in the state before moving throughout the Midwest at the age of eight. She began her ballet training under Rachel Vickrey and Robin Welch at Heartland Youth Ballet in Omaha, Nebraska, from 2010–2013. She then continued her training with Racheal Nye at Kansas City Ballet School from 2013–2017. In 2017, Reiter joined De Nationale Ballet Academie in Amsterdam, where she trained with Nathalie Caris, Ernst Meisner, and Grigory Tchitcherine until 2021. During this period, she completed a two-year contract dancing with Introdans in Arnhem while earning her Bachelor of Arts from the Amsterdam University of the Arts (Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten).

She joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a member of OKCB II in 2021, was promoted to apprentice for the 2023 season, and joined the corps de ballet in 2025. Her repertoire includes works by Wayne McGregor, Alexander Ekman, Cayetano Soto, Lucinda Childs, George Balanchine, José Limón, Robert Battle, Gerald Arpino, and Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye.
