Aylani Guajardo

Aylani Guajardo, originally from Tucson, Arizona, began her dance training in 2007 at Ballet Rincon under Jennifer Neuser, and Angelina Lin Hannum. In 2019, Aylani moved to Gilbert, Arizona to further her training at Brooksher Ballet under Natasha Fielding. At Brooksher Ballet, a Vaganova method-based academy, Aylani had the privilege of learning from various master teachers, who in turn were students of Alla Sizova, Rudolf Kharatian, Sergei Berejnoi, and Tatiana Legat among others.

In 2020, Aylani was accepted to train full-time in the day program at the Oklahoma City Ballet Yvonne Chouteau School under the direction of Racheal Nye. Following graduation from the day program, Aylani Guajardo danced in the trainee division at Tulsa Ballet’s Center for Dance Education on scholarship. In 2022, Aylani returned to Oklahoma City Ballet to continue training in their studio company. At OKCB, she was promoted to their second company (OKCBII) in 2023, and to apprentice with the company in 2025.

During her time in Oklahoma, Aylani has enjoyed performing various works of classical and contemporary repertoire. Some of her favorites include original works by Serkan Hasunusta, Mimmo Miccolis, Ashley Bouder, Racheal Nye, Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye, Ma Cong, Margo Sappington, and Collin Connor.

Aylani is excited to continue her career at Oklahoma City Ballet and mark her first year in the company for their 2025/2026 season!
