CHOREOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Masks ARE required to participate

Oklahoma City Ballet presents our first ever BRIDGE Community Choreography Workshop for aspiring young choreographers to hone their skills in a guided and supportive environment. Learn the basics of choreography through a morning workshop led by Teaching Artist Erica Portell before using the afternoon to choreograph your own new work on participating dancers. Choreographers must be age 14-18 years old. Four choreographers will be selected and if you are not selected, you will be invited to join us as a dancer.

Interested in being a dancer in the workshop? Participate in the morning choreography workshop and work on your skills of learning choreography quickly by being a dancer in one of the new works. Dancers will be randomly assigned to a student choreographer. Dancer applications are open to ages 12-18 years old.

The dance style of the workshop will be ballet and contemporary dance based
