Building Relationships and Inclusivity Through Dance for a New Generation of Excellence
Oklahoma City Ballet is excited to present our new initiative, BRIDGE. This initiative has a special focus on education, programs, mentorships, and partnerships to help better serve our community and promote diversity and inclusivity within our organization. Oklahoma City Ballet wants to be a BRIDGE for the community, providing a connection to ballet and the amazing ways it can impact the lives of those within our community. This crosses all aspects of our organization from our professional company, the Yvonne Chouteau School, and our community engagement programs.
Our Studio Company conducts numerous free performances throughout the metro area for our community, including public schools and other non-profit organizations. This season's partners include the Mustang Performing Arts Center, Special Care, and Harding Fine Arts Academy.

Golden Swans, Dance for Parkinson’s, and Chance to Dance
At the Susan E. Brackett Dance Center, 6800 N Classen Blvd.
Join us for a fun, FREE morning of dance! Take a dance class, have a fun coffee and snack break, and learn a dance together. This class is geared toward senior adults, people with Parkinson's disease, and dancers of varying abilities. However, all are welcome!

Join us one hour prior to each Civic Center Music Hall performance in the South Lobby for a fun and interactive experience that will help you to understand ballet and the performance you are about to see even better! Activities include dancer Q & A’s, introductory ballet classes, fun information on the performance, and choreographer lectures.

Our Dance Discovery program provides on-site ballet instruction to students at schools across Oklahoma City. Through Dance Discovery, students not only learn the basics of ballet but also gain a foundation of valuable life skills.
Arrive 30 minutes early to Scissortail Park to participate in a family ballet class for all ages! This free class will take you through fun ballet basics and introduce you to some of the steps you will see our professional dancers performing that night.
