SPEND “A NIGHT IN NEVERLAND” WITH OKLAHOMA CITY BALLET
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, February 29, 2016- Oklahoma City Ballet has announced the invitation to spend “A Night in Neverland” at their 2016 annual fundraiser, The Ballet Ball, to be held at Chevy Bricktown Events Center on Saturday, April 9th at 6:30 pm. Complimentary valet parking will be available to all Ballet Ball attendees.
This black tie event will benefit the continued success of Oklahoma City Ballet by raising funds for the prestigious company, dance school and community outreach programs. Single tickets are $250 per person. The Ballet Ball is the company’s single largest fundraiser. With the support of the patrons at this event, OKC Ballet will continue to enhance the cultural lives of all Oklahomans with outstanding performances, dance education and outreach.
Guests will be greeted with champagne upon arrival before being whisked away to Neverland for dinner, live and silent auctions, and an exclusive performance by the Oklahoma City Ballet from the upcoming performance “Peter Pan.”
This year, the Ballet will also be honoring Dr. Diana Hampton. “We are thrilled to honor Dr. Diana Hampton who led the company through its transition from Ballet Oklahoma to the Oklahoma City Ballet you know today,” said Artistic Director Robert Mills. “Her enthusiasm and determination helped change the course of Oklahoma City Ballet’s future, and to her we are very grateful.”
Ballet Ball After Dark (BBAD) begins at 9:30 pm, and is the dancing portion of the evening. Young Professionals are invited to join the party from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm for dancing, an open bar and a chance to bid on exclusive silent auction items. Entertainment will be provided by SquadLive.
