SARAH KLUMP

Sarah Klump, from Lake Charles, Louisiana, began her dance education under Sarah Quinn Jones and Meg Pharr, before continuing her training at the Lake Charles Dance Academy. During her years with LCDA, Ms. Klump performed with the associate company, Lake Area Ballet Theatre, performing roles in Coppelia, Swan Lake, La Fille mal Gardee, Les Sylphides, Etudes. In 2016, Ms. Klump joined the teaching faculty for the Lake Charles Dance Academy while continuing to perform with Lake Area Ballet Theatre and serve as Assistant Ballet Master for the company.

In 2019, Ms. Klump relocated to Oklahoma to continue her training with Oklahoma City Ballet at the Yvonne Chouteau School of Dance. She graduated in 2021 as part of the inaugural class of the Pre-Professional Day Program. Ms. Klump joined the Yvonne Chouteau School Faculty in 2022, assuming the role of School Receptionist and in 2023, School Coordinator. In addition to her administrative roles, Ms. Klump teaches in the Yvonne Chouteau School and enjoys guiding her students to discover joy through movement and dance.
