YEVA-MARIIA SKORENKA

Yeva-Mariia Skorenka is originally from Ukraine. She began her ballet training at the Kyiv State Ballet School, continued at the Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, and most recently trained at the School of American Ballet in New York City.

Some of the works she has performed include Serenade and Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 2 by George Balanchine, Tendu by Lauren Lovette, Scenes de Ballet by Christopher Wheeldon, and String Quartet No. 5: Movement IV by Sydney Miller. Yeva-Mariia also had the opportunity to perform with New York City Ballet in Stars and Stripes and at the Vail Dance Festival in Variations on a Theme by Tiler Peck. In the summer of 2025, she danced solo variations from Raymonda (Balanchine).

Yeva-Mariia has received awards at several international competitions, including Youth America Grand Prix, Tanzolymp, and Dance World Cup, and was honored in 2024 as an emerging choreographer through the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation.

The 2025–2026 season is Yeva-Mariia's first as an Apprentice with Oklahoma City Ballet, and she is truly excited to begin this new chapter.
