SARAH BETH WRISTON

Born in Wuerzburg, Germany, Sarah Beth Wriston began ballet at age seven under the direction and training of Isabel Christie of the Heidelberg Youth Ballet Program. It was there she was chosen to participate in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Wriston later moved to Enterprise, Alabama with her family and continued her ballet and dance training at Andalusia Ballet under Meryane Martin Murphy from 2012 to 2021.

In 2021, Wriston joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a trainee after participating in the summer intensive program. She then joined OKCB II, Second Company, in 2023. During her time in the studio company, Wriston has enjoyed performing works by Serkan Usta, Maria Konrad, Mimmo Miccolis, Ashley Bouder, George Balanchine, Racheal Nye, and Ryan Jolicouer-Nye. Her favorite roles include Chocolate in Ryan Jolicouer-Nye’s The Nutcracker, and Willis corps de ballet in Giselle, staged by Racheal Nye.

Wriston is very excited to be joining OKCB as an apprentice for the 25/26 season!
