Kaileah Long

Kaileah Long, from Thornton, Colorado, trained at Colorado Conservatory of Dance in Broomfield, Colorado under the direction of Julia Wilkinson Manley. Long has also trained with Marjorie Grundvig and Dennis Marshall at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, as well as with Maria Simonetti at Ballet Arizona, and Maria Torija and Susan Dromisky at BalletMet. Long attended Oklahoma City Ballet’s Summer Intensive in 2018 and was invited to join the Studio Company for the 2018/19 season. In 2020, she was promoted to apprentice.

Her repertoire includes works by George Balanchine, Edwaard Liang, Septime Webre, August Bournonville, Garrett Ammon, Dawn Fay, Michel Fokine, Dmitri Suslov, Gerard Charles, Terrance Orr, Maria Simmonetti, Michael Pink, and Robert Mills. Favorite roles include Firebird in The Firebird, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Wili in Giselle, and a corps de ballet dancer in Serenade and Concerto Barocco.
