Joined OKC Ballet in 2021
Grace Manuel began her training in Houston, Texas at Excelsior School of Dance before going on to attend Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy. While there, she had the opportunity to perform Michel Fokine’s Les Sylphides, August Bournonville’s Le Conservatoire, Marius Petipa’s Raymonda, and Stanton Welch’s The Nutcracker. She also furthered her training by attending both Kirov Academy of Washington D.C. and American Ballet Theatre’s summer intensives.
After attending Oklahoma City Ballet’s summer intensive in 2018, she joined the company as a Trainee. Manuel was then promoted to Studio Company for the 2019/20 season, and in the following years performed in productions such as Michael Pink’s Dracula, as well as Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Firebird, and The Little Mermaid. She was then promoted to Apprentice preceding the 2021/22 season.
