Joined OKC Ballet in 2023
Annabelle Gourley is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. At the age of 4, Annabelle started training in various styles of dance under the direction of April Spisak Nelson until the age of 15. From there, Annabelle continued her training at A Ballet Education’s The Ballet Clinic under the direction of David King and Ashley Baker for 2 years. After graduating from The Ballet Clinic, Annabelle moved forward in her training at the Alberta Ballet School in their post-graduate program under the direction of Ashley McNeil for 2 years.
In 2023, after attending the Oklahoma City Ballet Summer Intensive, Annabelle received a contract with OKCBII to begin training and performing with the Oklahoma City Ballet Studio Company, under the direction of Racheal Nye. Since joining OKCBII, Annabelle has enjoyed and has felt honored to perform works by Serkan Hasanusta, Mimmo Miccolis, Ashley Bouder, Racheal Nye, and Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye. Annabelle’s most memorable roles include Marzipan in Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye’s The Nutcracker, Satanella pas de deux staged by Racheal Nye, and Little Swans in Oklahoma City Ballet’s Swan Lake, staged by Racheal Nye.
Annabelle looks forward to beginning her first year as an apprentice in Oklahoma City Ballet's 2025/26 season!
