WHAT TO WEAR TO THE BALLET BALL

By Cindi Shelby

This year’s ball promises to be magnificent and a little mysterious. The theme is inspired by the Capulet masquerade ball in Romeo and Juliet. It will be candlelit with moody red lighting. So ladies, please wear your most resplendent gowns and dresses that are ever so romantic, alluring. We are looking for the drama, so don’t hold back!

Gentlemen, the same goes for you. This will be an elegant affair, so dress accordingly. For the bold, you can go full out Renaissance with a tunic or doublet (vest) over a loose fitting poet shirt and dark trousers. But for those not inclined, a tuxedo or suit is appropriate.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know is that we hope everyone will wear fabulous masks! The more elaborate the better, it is a Masquerade after all! See you at the Ball!
