LAUREN COX

Lauren Cox began her dance journey in her hometown of Springfield, Missouri, where she trained throughout her school years. Ms. Cox was a member of a studio competition team for 10 years between Studio VIE and Sonshine Performing Arts Academy. She went on to perform as a member of the Glendale High School Crimson Girls and the University of Tulsa Pom Squad.

In 2024, Ms. Cox graduated from the University of Tulsa with a B.A. in Arts, Culture and Entertainment Management and a minor in Business Administration. That fall, she joined the Oklahoma City Ballet as School Coordinator, assisting with administrative duties and organizing the Summer Intensive.

Her role with Oklahoma City Ballet has allowed her to remain connected to dance throughout her professional career. She especially enjoys attending ballet performances with her friends and family and being part of the Oklahoma City dance community.
