ISABELLA SACLOLO

Originally born in the Cavite province of the Philippines and raised in Rogers, Arkansas, Bella Saclolo began her ballet training at the Northwest Arkansas Conservatory of Classical Ballet. She eventually had the opportunity to work with the affiliated company, Northwest Arkansas Ballet Theatre, under the direction of Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye, performing works by Jolicoeur-Nye, Gillmer Duran, Karen Castleman, and Jennifer Owen. In 2020, Bella was offered the chance to continue her training in the Oklahoma City Ballet Yvonne Chouteau School’s day program under Racheal Nye.

After her initial year in the day program, Bella was promoted to the Studio Company at Oklahoma City Ballet as a trainee. She spent two years in that role before being promoted to OKCB II in 2023 and then to apprentice with the company in 2025. During that time, Bella was also invited to perform works by Sidra Bell and Jennifer Owen as a guest artist with Owen/Cox Dance Group. Some of her favorite repertoire over the years includes original works by Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye, Ashley Bouder, Mimmo Miccolis, Serkan Usta, and Maria Konrad, as well as roles such as a Little Swan in Swan Lake, a Wili in Giselle, the Chopiniana pas de deux, Flower Festival pas de deux, the Peasant pas de deux from Giselle, and Flames of Paris pas de deux.

Bella is incredibly excited to continue her journey from the school into the company here at Oklahoma City Ballet.
