Preparatory Division consists of students ages 8 through 14. The traditional class structure of barre, center, and traveling steps are introduced. Ballet classes meet two days per week, and classes in jazz technique are added. In Level 3, students will work on lower extremity strengthening and alignment in Pre-Pointe class. These levels will receive evaluations at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters.
A level placement evaluation class is required for the Preparatory Division.

Our Primary levels will present an end-of-year Primary Showcase on May 2024 in our Inasmuch Theater at the Susan E. Brackett Dance Center
The Preparatory Division (Level 1, 2, 3) will present an end-of-year Spring Performance in May 2024. This will give students the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned, in addition to continuing their dance education with participation in a performance event.
Other performance opportunities include participation in Oklahoma City Ballet company production (by audition) and coaching/preparation for the Youth America Grand Prix competition (Levels 2 and 3).
