Nicholas Keeperman

Nicholas Keeperman, originally from  Illinois,  began his dance training at the age of nine. He trained locally until 2014 when he moved to Connecticut to continue his training at The Nutmeg Conservatory.

Keeperman then trained at Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy, where he performed and also created, staged, and debuted original choreography in collaboration with a composer from American Festival for the Arts. In 2018 Keeperman joined Kansas City Ballet as an apprentice.

Keeperman joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a corps de ballet member in 2019. His repertoire includes works by Twyla Tharp, George Ballanchine, Septime Webre, Michael Pink, Val Caniparoli, Sarah Tallman, Nicolo Fonte, Gerald Arpino, Stanton Welch, Devon Carney, and Robert Mills. His favorite roles include Gerald Arpino's Birthday Variations, Sarah Tallman’s Love in a Jukebox and Twyla Tharp’s In the Upper Room.
