Ms. Odaka received her training under the direction of Diane Lauridsen at Lauridsen Ballet Centre where she danced in the pre-professional company of South Bay Ballet. Ms. Odaka was offered an apprenticeship with Oklahoma City Ballet after participating in Oklahoma City Ballet’s 2015 summer intensive and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2017. With Oklahoma City Ballet, Ms. Odaka has been featured as the White Cat in Robert Mills’ Sleeping Beauty, Demi-soloist in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Cygnet in Robert Mill’s Swan Lake, Helen Pickett’s Petal and Robert Mill’s The Means to Fly. She most recently performed as Clara in Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker, Demi-soloist in George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments and Lucille Grahn in Robert Joffrey’s Pas de Deesses. She would like to thank her family and teachers for their love and support to get her where she is today.
