Oklahoma City Youth Ballet

The Oklahoma City Youth Ballet is a performing ensemble comprised of students from Levels 5 and 6 at The School of Oklahoma City Ballet, and directed by Penny Askew.  Selected via audition, these pre-professional dancers present a Fall Concert each November, participate in productions such as The Nutcracker with our professional company, and perform in the end-of-year Spring Performance and for other events such as the Oklahoma City Arts Festival whenever possible.

Dancers for 2017-2018 include Isabella Armstrong, Mia Boggs, Isabel Bozarth, Sarah Chapman, Kameryn Frazier, Anamarie Haddock, Emily McDougall, Brenna Murphy, Milo Powell, Nola Powell, Jacob Seagraves, Sydney Swearingen, Briana Wernke, and Hannah White.

Fall Concert 2017 is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 at 7:00 pm, and will be presented at the ballet’s new facility, the Susan E. Brackett Dance Center. The dancers will present several works, including choreography by Penny Askew and Kansas City Ballet’s Charles Martin, and the OKC Ballet Trainees will also perform on the program. Tickets are $7, and will go on sale October 1st.
