Vinícius Silva is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he studied classical and contemporary dance at Alice Arja School of Dance. He was a Company member with Ballet of Rio De Janeiro, where he performed in Don Quixote, by Marious Petipa and Carnival of the Animals, by Christoper Wheeldon. He was invited to dance, as a soloist, with the Albany Berkshire touring company in New York and Massachusetts, and performed the role of Cavalier in the The Nutcracker. He danced numerous roles with Oklahoma City Ballet 18-19 season; including a man in white and jacks in Septime Weber’s Alice (In Wonderland), Russian, Mother Ginger, party parent and a mouse in The Nutcracker, and danced in the Reel of La Sylphide. He is excited to begin his second season with Oklahoma City Ballet!
