Vinícius Silva, from Brazil, trained at the Alice Arja School of Dance and joined Ballet of Rio De Janeiro as a company member, where he performed in Marius Petipa’s Don Quixote and Christopher Wheeldon’s Carnival of the Animals. From there, he was invited to dance as a soloist with the Albany Berkshire Ballet, touring New York and Massachusetts performing the role of Cavalier in The Nutcracker.

Silva attended the Oklahoma City Ballet Summer Intensive in 2018 and was offered an Apprentice position with the company for the 2018/19 season.  With Oklahoma City Ballet he has performed in Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland), Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker, and August Bournonville’s La Sylphide.
