Mr. Fernandez was born in Boston and started dancing at the late age of 15. Two years after beginning his training at Boston Arts Academy, he received a 2 year full scholarship into the Men’s Program at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. While attending CPYB, Mr. Fernandez performed many works by renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine, Alan Hineline, Kiyon Gaines, and Matthew Powell. Mr. Fernandez joined Pennsylvania Ballet II in the 2015-16 season and has performed Corps de Ballet roles in Angel Corella’s Don Quixote, and Le Corsaire, Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella, and George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. While attending the summer program at Oklahoma City Ballet, Randolph was offered to join the company as an Apprentice for the 2017/18 season.He was then promoted to Corps de Ballet for the 2018/19 season. Since arriving, Mr. Fernandez has been seen performing in guest choreographer Helen Pickett’s Petal, Septime Webre’s Alice (In Wonderland), and August Bournonville’s La Sylphide. Alongside those works, he has also performed in Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker as Hans, Spanish, Chinese and Russian lead, and Corps de Ballet roles in Mr. Mills’ Swan Lake and The Little Mermaid. Mr. Fernandez is excited to continue his journey with the Oklahoma City Ballet and to keep stealing the hearts of our Oklahoma City audience.
