Miho Fisher is a collaborative pianist in the Oklahoma City metro area from Japan, currently serving as a staff accompanist at Oklahoma Christian University. She studied at the University of North Texas and University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) under Greg Fisher, Steven Harlos and UCO’s Artist-in-Residence Valery Kuleshov, and earned Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance. She has appeared in UCO’s Faculty Artist Concert Series, OKC Downtown Library’s Noon Tunes concert series among others, performing both piano solo and chamber works collaborating with singers and instrumental musicians. Miho joined The Dance Center of OKC Ballet in 2013 as a ballet accompanist and started playing for OKC Ballet company classes in the 2015-16 season. Miho enjoys playing for the dance classes: she is musically inspired by the graceful movements of the dancers in the classroom and is grateful to be part of the process creating this beautiful art form, dance.
