Miho Fisher, from Japan, is a collaborative pianist in the Oklahoma City metro area currently serving as a staff accompanist at Oklahoma Christian University. She studied at the University of North Texas and University of Central Oklahoma under Greg Fisher, Steven Harlos and UCO’s Artist-in-Residence Valery Kuleshov, and earned Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance. She has appeared in UCO’s Faculty Artist Concert Series and OKC Downtown Library’s Noon Tunes concert series, among others, performing both piano solo and chamber works in collaboration with singers and instrumental musicians. Fisher joined Oklahoma City Ballet’s school in 2013 as a class accompanist and began playing for the professional company’s classes during the 2015/16 season. She is musically inspired by the graceful movements of the dancers in the classroom.
