Jameson Keating, a California native, has strong ties to his hometown community of Santa Barbara, where he was born and raised. He began his professional career as a company member of Santa Barbara’s State Street Ballet, and moved on to train with Ballet West II, The Joffrey Ballet Studio Company, and Cincinnati Ballet II, performing in both Corps and Soloist roles with CB’s first company. With a fluency of movement ranging from classical ballet to hip hop, he has performed choreography by Gerald Arpino, George Balanchine, John Neumeir, William Soleau, Marianna Oliveri, and William Christensen, among others. His contemporary repertoire also includes works by Ohad Naharin, Nicolo Fante, and Josie Walsh, as well as his own emerging choreography.
