Ms. Dorman was born in Traverse City, Michigan. She began her dance training at the age of 3 under Korin Drilling and Tera Garrow at The Dance Center. She then went on to train at Interlochen Arts Academy under Cameron Basden and Joseph Morrissey where she danced leading roles in La Bayadère, The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, and Philip Jerry’s Our Town. After graduating with honors, Ms. Dorman continued her training with Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev in Chicago, IL, where she danced in various new works, including the lead in Kremnev’s adaptation of Cinderella. In 2017, she joined the Oklahoma City Ballet’s Studio Company and remained for the 18/19 season. Her repertoire with the company includes Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, The Little Mermaid, Alice (In Wonderland), La Sylphide, and The Four Temperaments. Her favorite was being featured in Helen Pickett’s Petal. She would like to thank her family for their continuous love and support.
