Gabriella Dorman trained at The Dance Center in Traverse City, Michigan and then at Interlochen Arts Academy, where she performed leading roles in La Bayadère, The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, and Phillip Jerry’s Our Town.
Graduating with honors, Dorman continued her training in Chicago with Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev, dancing in various new works including the title role in Kremnev’s adapation of Cinderella.
Dorman attended the Oklahoma City Ballet Summer Intensive in 2017 and was invited to join the Studio Company for the 2017/18 season. During her two seasons in the Studio Company, her repertoire expanded to include Robert Mills’ Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and The Little Mermaid, along with Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland) and August Bournonville’s La Sylphide. Additionally, Dorman performed in George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments and had a feature role in Helen Pickett’s Petal.
