Ms. Schooling was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and began her training at The Lancaster School of Ballet. She then went on to train at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under Marcia Dale Weary and danced roles in Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Serenade and Raymonda Variations. Ms. Schooling graduated with honors from Butler University with degrees in Dance Performance and Peace and Conflict Studies. At Butler, she was featured in roles such as Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty and Arabian Lead in The Nutcracker. She also had the opportunity to originate multiple leading roles. In 2016, Ms. Schooling joined Oklahoma City Ballet as an apprentice and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2018. At Oklahoma City Ballet, she has danced roles in The Nutcracker, Serenade, Swan Lake and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She has most recently enjoyed dancing George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments in Theme 2, and Septime Weber’s Alice (In wonderland) as a Twin Sister and a Rose.
