Mr. González was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where he started his ballet training at the age of 16 in the Gustavo Franklin School. In 2015, he continued his training for 2 years at The Houston Ballet Academy under Artistic Director Stanton Welch; here, he had the opportunity to be part of ballets such as John Neumeier’s Yondering, Ben Stevenson’s Sleeping Beauty, and The Nutcracker. He also got to be apart of Stanton Welch’s Long and Winding Road, Young Persons Guide to the Orquesta, and Brigade. Mr. González Joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a Studio Company member where he performed with the Main Company in Robert Mills’s Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, Jiří Kylián‘s Petite Mort and Helen Pickett’s Petal. That same year he was promoted as an apprentice where he participated in Septime Webre’s Alice (In Wonderland), August Bournonville’s La Sylphide and his most recent performance Cayetano Soto’s ADAM. He is excited to be part of the company as a Corps de Ballet in the 2019-2020 season.
