It is Oklahoma City Ballet’s core belief that ballet should be accessible to all. In keeping with that principle, we are proud to offer our first adaptive dance program. Chance to Dance is designed to be inclusive for children ages 7 and up of varying physical and developmental abilities.
The goal of our program is to provide an opportunity for community, artistic expression, and learning for all children. Our instructors and program coordinators are committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for students to discover the transformative practice of dance.
“The Chance to Dance program has truly been life-changing for us. Riker seems to have an even deeper connection to the music he already loves. He talks about his new friends from the program daily. I also feel like it’s helped him become more confident. We look forward to participating again in the fall. You’ve made an enormous impact on our whole family."

“We’ve been unbelievably impressed with Oklahoma City Ballet. The team, outreach, professionalism, patience, kindness, love, and passion. I’m speechless! Ava has been a member of our community for nine years and nothing has been available to her extracurricular-wise to date. We’ve investigated every possible option for inclusion. The gift you guys gave her these last six weeks has been monumental. We’re grateful for you and the entire team!”
